Dear all,
I'd like to invite interested faculty and students to attend the following
talk:

	"Endangered Languages: An Active Approach"
	 		by
		Prof. David Bradley

	November 8, 1999, 13.30-15.00 hrs.
	Boromrajakumari Building, Room 707
	Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University

The extinction of languages is an important phenomenon in Asia,
particularly
in South China, Thailand, Indonesia, and several other countries.
How do we
prevent languages from dying? The talk will focus on several
endangered minority
	languages in Yunnan.

Prof. David Bradley is head of the department of linguistics, La Trobe
University.
