Q&A 19th c SEA linguist: Francis Mason

Does anyone have any biographical information on Francis Mason (Doctor of
Divinities), a 19th century linguist/scholar/missionary primarily active in
Burma?  I would appreciate "leads" on any published sources that mention the
details (or even "the outlines") of his life, or perhaps biographical
accounts written _in memorium_ at the time of his death?
