The 7th Pan-Asiatic International Symposium on Languages and Linguistics

CALL FOR PAPERS

The 7th Pan-Asiatic International Symposium on Languages and Linguistics will 
be jointly organized by the National Key Research Center for Linguistics & 
Applied Linguistics and the Faculty of English Language and Culture at the 
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies on 5-6 December, 2008.
Abstracts are welcome in any area of linguistics, especially formal 
linguistics, functional linguistics, construction grammar, and contrastive 
linguistics.

2.    Thomas LEE, Chinese University of Hong Kong
3.    Mamoru SAITO, Nanzan University, Japan
4.    Jiaxuan SHEN, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences

Guidelines for Submissions
1.     Abstracts should be in English, of no more than 500 words in length, 
including examples and references.
2.     The abstract should include the following information: title of paper, 
full author's name, affiliation, correspondence address, e-mail address, phone 
number.
3.     Abstracts should be submitted online at the conference website: 
http://www.clal.org.cn/panasia or  http://www.clal.org.cn/panasia/index.htm
4.     Abstracts should be submitted no later than June 1, 2008 and 
notifications of acceptance will be sent on July 15, 2008.

Registration fee
         RMB700 (or $95) per person; RMB500 (or $68) per person for 
postgraduate students
