The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and the Center for
Southeast Asian Studies seek an instructor of Burmese language beginning
August 15, 2011 for one year. The successful candidate will teach lower and
upper level Burmese language courses each semester.

REQUIRED SKILLS
Native or near-native fluency in Burmese; an M.A. degree or equivalent in an
appropriate field; evidence of teaching experience. The ability to teach a
proficiency-based curriculum is a highly desired.

MATERIALS
*The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires the University to
inform you that we can only employ U.S. Citizens and aliens lawfully
authorized to work in the U.S. Each new employee is required to present
documentation verifying identity and right to accept employment. Members of
protected class groups are strongly encouraged to apply.*
