Dear colleagues from the linguistic sector,

TAI CULTURE is recently planning a special volume on “Tai – Austroasiatic”
connections. Other ethnic groups are also involved.

Along with the study of various mutual influences in the realm of culture,
handicraft, religion, etc.
it is obvious that the Tai groups have received also a wide range of influence
in the sphere of language, may it be grammar, intonation, but in any case
quite an amount of loanwords from different linguistic groups (depending on
the historical distribution or migration routes of the Tai groups).

If you have done any study about such themes,
please contact me to give some hints, to submit your own research
contribution, or to suggest whom I should contact in this respect.

Many thanks, and best regards,
Oliver Raendchen
