   Call for Papers

The 9^th International Conference of the /Asian Association of Lexicography/
will be held from 25-27 June 2015 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The conference aims to provide a platform for lexicography and language
professionals from Asia and worldwide to share information, knowledge and
experience in reference science.

*Theme sections*

Abstracts are invited for individual papers on the following or any other
related areas:

   * dictionaries and ELT;
   * dictionary compilation in the digital era;
   * the role of corpora in reference science;
   * dictionaries, corpora and Asian languages;
   * multimedia and multifunctions of dictionaries;
   * dictionaries and culture; and
   * terminology, phraseology and neologisms.

Any other contribution related to the themes of the conference will be welcomed.

*Publication opportunity*

The papers presented at the conference will be published in the proceedings,
and selected papers will be recommended to the refereed journal:
/Lexicography: Journal of AsiaLex./

Subscribers to the journal will automatically become members of ASIALEX thus
entitling them to 35% reduction of the conference fee.
