I've been thinking of this and swings in Russian could be 'podvesnye
kacheli'. Normally we would recognize from the context. For example, "na
detskoj ploshchadke STOJAT kacheli. On xotel pokachatsja, no ne tak-to
prosto: kto zhe sjadet na drugoj konets doski?" I hope that I answered your
question in some way.
