First-year Russian language textbook "Golosa"

For many years we at Penn State used Clark's Beginning Russian in our
elementary language classes.  A few years ago we switched to "Russian
Alive." Since then a few other textbooks have appeared.

My colleagues and I are now considering adopting the textbook "Golosa."
We would appreciating hearing from anyone who has used this textbook to
learn what your experience has been.  Please respond to me off list at
