Michail Noshkin is popular Russian movie and theater actor.
Lives in Moscow (still,I hope). He is not old and far from Chechnya,
so should be alive. Writes poetry and sings it with guitar.
Poets who sing thair poetry  are called "bards" in Russia and
very popular.
Most popular are
Vladimir Visotski,
Bulat Okudjava,
Michail Nozhkin and there are many others.
