Shevelov's memoir

Dear SEELANGers,

The December 1994 issue of the Ukrainian publication _Suchasnist'_ carries
a memoir by Jurij (George) Shevelov entitled "Zustrichi z Romanom
Jakobsonom"  (pp. 93-128). Don't let the mildness of the title mislead;
the author describes this memoir as a story of his "war" with Jakobson,
and it is replete with observations and strong opinions not only about
Roman Osipovich, but also about other slavists at Harvard and elsewhere,
and about American slavistics in general.
