Russian haircut term

Privet!

I have come across the term "pod pol'ku" with reference to getting a
haircut.  I did see it in the 4-volume Slovar' Russkogo Yazyka, but I
have a feeling it is not in common contemporary usage.  I would
appreciate any information regarding its usage.  Is it in current use?
Is it outdated.  Is it used by primarily older, younger, or any
particular group of persons?
