Suggestions for "Great Books" syllabus

George and others,

A personal favorite and one that has worked well in my Honors literature
class is Krleza's "On the Edge of Reason" (Na rubu pameti) now available
again in English. It is not too long and can be used quite effectively for
discussion from many different angles (style, psychological venues,
questions of reality, the role of thenarrator, etc.).
