             Civic Education Project

             CEP, a non-profit international educational organization
             dedicated to assisting reform efforts at universities in Central
             and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, through the
             placement of social scientists in a year-long position at
             universities throughout the region, seeks two highly motivated
             individuals to serve in its New Haven, CT office:

             Director of Recruitment and University Relations: Supervises
             all aspects of recruitment, screening, selection, and training
             of CEP Lecturers and Eastern Scholars, working closely with CEP
             staff in the region, as well as with Western universities,
             academic organizations, etc. Supervises small US staff. Requires
             Ph.D., preferably in the social sciences; excellent
             administrative, communication, and organizational skills;
             familiarity with the region; and computerliteracy.
