Hi Dan,

I haven't heard from you for a long time. How are your Gazdanov
translation projects going?

I actually need to know because one of "my" translators would like to do
"Nishchij" but won't if you are serious about it (which I hope you are,
in which case, if it is not promised already to another publication, I
would like to consider it for our proposed collection of G's short stories!).

Please let me know so my translator could proceed accordingly.
What is the status of the Columbia volume? When will it be published and
what (if any) Gazdanov will be in it?
