dyslexia and Russian

A student at the school where I teach is interested in learning Russia, but he
has severe dyslexia and is understandably concerned about being able to manage
the alphabet, as well as other aspects of the language.  Does anyone know of any
resources available for people in this situation, or of any research that's been
done on the topic of dyslexia and learning Russian?
