Position at Kazak American Studies Center, Almaty

The KAZAK AMERICAN STUDIES CENTER, KASC, at Almaty State Univers-
ity in Kazakstan requires an assistant director for the program.
The KASC has been in existence since 1991 and has been supported
by the University of Kentucky and the University of New Mexico.
The position involves coordinating activities between the center
and other agencies, developing exchange programs, other programs
you would like to develop, and teaching. It is a paid position
(Central Asian remuneration level) provided you teach. English
teachers are always needed but you may teach other subjects as
well if there is a need. Russian language background very helpful
but not required.
A shared apartment and $100/month is the usual remuneration. Good
