Dear AATSEELER's travelling to Toronto,
        I wanted to add our panel/workshop to Ben Rifkin's
list.  We will be talking about doing folklore and other field
work in the post-Soviet setting.  While not exactly a pedagogy
panel, it does contain much information useful in the
classroom and useful in structuring your courses.  We will talk
about culture -- information useful in the language classroom
and elsewhere.  We will talk about gathering data -- something
grad students should certainly learn.  All participants have
successfully conducted field work in the last several years.
