A New Grant Opportunity from NEA's National Foundation for the Improvement
of Education

The National Foundation for the Improvement of Education (NFIE) offers
"Leadership Grants" providing public school teachers, support personnel,
and higher education faculty and staff with financial support for
activities to deepen their content knowledge and improve their teaching
skills.

As many as 50 grants of up to $1,000 each will be awarded each year. The
next deadline for applications is October 15, 1997.
