                        Communications Officer

The Regional Environmental Center for Central and Eastern Europe (REC) is
looking for a Communications Officer to manage its Communications and
Publishing program.

Duties include: writing and editing a professional 24-page newsletter;
producing a variety of marketing materials; handling media relations; and
managing publishing and communications projects.

Qualifications include demonstrated writing and editing skills in English;
excellent project management skills including budgeting, computer literacy;
and a university degree. Background in journalism is a plus.

The REC is an independent, nonprofit, regional organization dedicated to
improving the environment in Central and Eastern Europe.
