Overview: Search for Common Ground, an organization that holds a vision
of transforming how the world deals with conflict-away from adversarial
approaches towards cooperative solutions, seeks a Project Director for
the Ukrainian Mediation Group Project. Search for Common Ground (SCG) is
a partner with the Ukrainian Mediation Group (UMG), which has mediation
centers in Donetsk, Lugansk, and Odessa. Over the next several years the
project will establish new centers in Kiev, Simferopol, Kharkov, and
Lviv.

The position of SCG Project Director is available immediately and will
be based full-time in Ukraine. The SCG Project Director will work
closely with the Director of the UMG to realize the vision of an
expanded network of mediation centers throughout Ukraine.  S/he will be
responsible to SCG for the administration and management of the project
in the field, and will work closely with the UMG Director on training,
development, fundraising, etc. for the project.

Requirements: Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian; experience living and
working in Ukraine; NGO project management experience (USAID knowledge
preferred); strong background and interest in the field of conflict
resolution; and a willingness to live outside of Kiev in Ukraine for two
years.
