18th cent. poet Mitrofanov

[Serge Rogosin]

Does anyone know anything about the 18th-century poet S. Mitrofanov?  All I
have been able to find are the few scant pages on him in the anthologies
_Pesni i romansy russkikh poetov_ from the _Bol'shaia seriia Biblioteki
poeta_ ,1963 and _Pesni russkikh poetov, "B-ka poeta" (B.s.), 1936, which
contain close to nothing on Mitrofanov's life.

Has any information on him come to light since then, such as his first name,
dates, etc?  Is anyone aware of any works other than _Pesni russkie
izvestnogo okhotnika M*****_ published in St. Petersburg in 1799?

Any leads would be much appreciated.
