Subject:  Obit: Samuil B. Bernshtejn

On October 6, 1997, Prof. Samuil Borisovich Bernshtejn died in
Moscow. He was the oldest slavist in Moscow (born 1911) and the author
of the "Comparative Grammar of Slavic Languages" (vol.1-2).
S.B. Bernshtejn was buried in Vvedenskoe graveyard on October 9, 1997.
