This is a call for papers for the panel that will be held at AATSEEL 1998
meeting in San Fransisco.

Call For Papers:

Chairperson: Helena Goscilo
Panel: The West in Post-Stalinist Culture

The panel's primary focus is representations of the West in post-Stalinist
culture.  However, the papers discussing the images of the West in
Stalinist and early Soviet culture are also welcome.  Please submit your
abstracts to Helena Goscilo and David Birnbaum by August 1st.
