The Faberge Arts Foundation is seeking a Program Officer for its Washington,
D.C. office, to start immediately.  The position is for 4-5 days a week, with
flexible hours.  Applicants for the position should have very good writing
ability, strong editing and computer skills, experience in program
development and, preferably, Russian language skills.  A background in
Russian culture and/or history or in art or art history is desirable.  The
Faberge Arts Foundation is a small, not-for-profit organization dedicated to
the restoration of St. Petersburg as a center for the decorative arts.  To
that end, FAF sponsors architectural restoration projects in St. Petersburg,
international jewelry design competitions and international art exhibitions.
FAF offers the opportunity to work with a small, congenial staff and to gain
expertise in many facets of museumship.  Salary commensurate with experience.
