Dear Laura,

 If you mean a computer vocabulary program, there is one with Transparent
 Language.  It starts with about a thousand practical words and allows
 students to add their own words to the list.  The program is called
 "Vocabulary Master".  I just happened to be investigating it this morning
 before I read your message.  I don't have it and of course have no idea
 whether it is any good.
