UNIVERSITY OF NOTTINGHAM RESEARCH STUDENTSHIPS IN
MODERN LANGUAGES:MA & PhD

The School of Modern Languages, University of Nottingham, has
pleasure in announcing an extension of its recently publicised
scheme of fully funded (ie fees and maintenance) studentships
available for graduate students wishing to pursue either: a) MA by
research or taught MA, where appropriate; PhD by research.

It is a condition of the scheme that, where eligible, candidates
should also apply for an equivalent studentship of the AHRB (Arts
& Humanities Research Board). The deadline for application for the
University of Nottingham Graduate Studentships is 31 March 1999.
Candidates will subsequently be invited to a Graduate Studies
Interview Day when they will have the opportunity to meet staff and
currently-registered Masters and Doctoral candidates.
