fair use

1/4 of a book *is* a large amount!

As far as I know, around 10% of a text is considered
fair use, and even with that, not whole chapters, but
rather things like charts, graphs, definitions of
things - appendix-type items, etc.

But then again, I suppose it depends where you are.
