Can anyone recommend an article (in either English or Russian) on the
 sociolinguistic concepts of "svoi" and "chuzhoi" and on the usage of "svoi" in
 proverbs/idioms/sayings?  (I don't mean something that explains the grammatical
 usage of "svoi.")
