The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures is pleased to
announce a conference -- "Rethinking Russia and Modernity" -- to
be held October 1 and 2, 1999 at the Tyler Environmental Prize
Pavilion, Von Kleinsmid Center, University of Southern California,
Los Angeles.
