Margarita Meyendorff and the Russian Folk Instrument Ensemble

Russian language teacher Margarita Meyendorff (Mourka to her friends) will
introduce Club members to the rich heritage of Russian romance, gypsy, and
folk music. Mourka, a talented actress, singer, and dancer, will be
accompanied by musicians playing the alto balalaika, bass balalaika, violin,
and accordion. Mourka performs with Lynn Barr's Dancing Company both here and
in Italy. Her acting credits in New York City include, "The Owl and the
Pussycat," "Two for the Seesaw," "Luv," and "Borstal Boy." Join us for this
special presentation of Russian music and dance!
