there is David Short's 'Teach Yourself Czech: A Complete Course for
Beginners', Hodder & Stoughton, 1993 & '98.

        There's also a very useful book for Russian speakers by Helena
Confortiova, Hana Hrdlickova et al.: 'Cheshskii iazyk dlia russkikh',
Statni pedagogicke nakladatelstvi, Prague, 1976 (so most likely out of
print).
