topically arranged readings in Russian

Colleagues,

I am looking for topically arranged readings in Russian for beginning and
intermediate level (high school students).  i.e. short readings on such basic
topis as family, transportation, school, home, hobbies, numbers, colors,
clothing, food, etc.  Can anyone recommend any publications?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
