Dear Colleagues,
        I am currently working with a student on a senior thesis involving
Propp's Morphology.  We do not have a copy of the Russian original handy
- does anyone know what the word "function" is in Russian (in sentences
like "This makes possible the study of the tale according to the
functions of its dramatis personae")?
