Macedonian words in English

Many folk dancers in the U.S. know the terms Lesnoto and Tes^koto
('the easy dance' and 'the difficult dance'), and the more general
term oro (in this form it is definitely Macedonian, since a Bulgarian
dance is called horo [XOPO]).
Historians may know komitadji.
People all over ex-Yugoslavia knew tavc^e-gravc^e (a baked bean dish).
