Sorry, if it is a bit off-topic, but I'm curious, what are (were) the names
of the security forces in the former socialist countries. E.g. I know that
Russian was KGB (Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopasnosti) in the past and
currently is known as FSB (Federalnaya Sluzhba Bezopasnosti). So, what are
the former and current names of security agencies in East Germany, Poland,
Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Czech & Slovak, Hungary, Ukraine, Baltic
States? Thanks a lot in advance!!!
