RUSSIAN LECTURER:  Emory University  invites applications for a full-time,
temporary position in Russian for 2001-02 (Classes begin August 30)
Candidates are required to have completed their MA in Russian
linguistics/literature or a related field, and preference will be given to
recent PhD's and ABD's,.  Candidates must be creative and effective teachers
of Russian , with experience teaching American undergraduates.   Fluency in
Russian and in English is required.  Interdisciplinary interests and
interest in applications of new technologies are welcome.  Salary is
$30,000, and benefits are provided. Applicants must be US citizens or have
visa status that would enable them to begin teaching in the US in August
