AAASS/AWSS Women's Luncheon, November 17

The AAASS Committee on the Status of Women in the Profession and the
Association for Women in Slavic Studies will be hosting a luncheon at the
AAASS Annual Meeting in Crystal City on Saturday, November 17, at 12:30 p.m.
Tickets for the luncheon must be sold in advance and seating is,
unfortunately, limited.  If you are interested in attending the luncheon,
please make out a check to AWSS for $30.00 (which includes three courses,
gratuity, and taxes) and mail it to Christine Worobec, Department of
History, Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, IL 60115 by November 7.
Please append a note to the check if you would like a vegetarian meal. You
may pick up your luncheon ticket and receipt before Saturday noon at the
AWSS booth in the Book exhibit area.  The luncheon will be followed at 1:30
by a presentation of the Heldt Prizes and other AWSS awards as well as a
presentation of the results of the AAASS Gender Equity Study.  The
post-luncheon session is open to all.
