Mayakovsky's film

You will find "Baryshnia i khuligan" at the Pacific Film Archive in Berkeley
(non-circulating, VHS can be viewed on-site)--I don't know where else it
might be. To find out if any of his films exist in Gosfil'mofond, check
"Sovetskie khudozhestvennye fil'my: Annotirovannyi katalog." I know that
"Stekliannyi glaz," which someone else mentioned, is listed as being there,
at least parts of it, that is. Mayakovsky also worked on Room's "Evrei na
zemle" (1926), which is also at the PFA.

You probably already know that Mayakovsky wrote a handful of screenplays and
treatments, most of which were never produced. You can find them in his
Polnoe sobranie sochinenii, or, more conveniently collected together with
many of his articles on film, in the collection "Teatr i kino" (1954), v. 2.

Subject: Mayakovsky's film

Hello

First of all, excuse my poor English, I'm a francophone. Second, I'm trying
to finf any film/documentary concerning Mayakovsky, made by him or featuring
him. If any of you have information about it I'll appreciate very much. I'm
a ph.d. student working in Montreal on Mayakovsky's work.

Sincerly,

Saskia Ouaknine
Montréal.
