Dear SEELangs subscribers going to AATSEEL:

I might point out that New Orleans is located at a major rail
crossroads, with _direct_ service on the following routes:

-- To Los Angeles (via Houston, San Antonio, El Paso, Tucson,
   and Phoenix)

-- To Jacksonville (via Mobile, Pensacola, and Tallahassee)

-- To Chicago (via Jackson, Memphis, and Champagne-Urbana)

-- To New York (via Atlanta, Charlottesville, Washington,
   Baltimore, and Philadelphia)

If you have the time (overnight to Chicago, for example), it
can be quite relaxing. I've ridden three of these over the
past 20 years. Contact <amtrak.com> or 1-800-USA-RAIL.

Best,
Loren Billings
