The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of
Kansas is pleased to announce the availability of Foreign Language and Area
Studies fellowships (FLAS), University Fellowships, and Graduate Teaching
Assistantships for graduate study leading to the MA and PhD degrees in
Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Kansas. These awards

GTA positions are available in Russian, and occasionally Polish and
Croatian/Serbian. Interested candidates should write a letter expressing
their interest in a position to either Prof. Parker or Prof. Greenberg
(address below) by the end of Feb. 2002 for appointments to begin in August
2002.
