The version I ever heard in Russia was:

Bratets Iakov, bratets Iakov,
Spish' li ty?
Spish' li ty?
Slyshish' zvon na bashne?
Slyshish' zvon na bashne?
Din'-don-don,
Din'-don-don.

It was used as a voice exercise at a children's choir practices, and I
never heard it in another context.
