Dear colleagues,

Williams College is announcing the following opening.  We will be
intervieweing at MLA/AATSEEL.


One-year, full-time visiting  position for 2003-2004 in Russian Language
and Literature.  3 courses in language, 2 in literature.  Specialization
open; an interest in teaching comparative literature is desirable.
Appointment normally at the beginning assistant professor level, although a
more senior appointment is possible under special circumstances.  Should
have Ph.D. or dissertation completed by time of appointment.    Send
