Assistant Professor of Russian Literature, beginning Sept. '03,
four-year appointment with possibility of renewal.  Field of
specialization open, but preference given to applicants with a focus
on nineteenth-century Russian literature and culture.

Ph.D., fluent Russian & English, teaching experience, commitment to
scholarship. Applications with at least 3 letters of reference, or
nominations, by December 1, to Professor Harvey Goldblatt, Chair.
