Visiting Instructor of Russian

Pending anticipated approval, the Department of Russian Language and
Literature is seeking applications for a one-year sabbatical replacement
position for 2003-2004.  Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Russian
language and literature and native or near-native fluency in both 
Russian
and English.  ABDs will be considered.  Candidate should be able to 
teach
all levels of Russian language, as well as courses on Russian literature
in translation.  Evidence of excellence in language teaching required;
experience teaching film or women’s writing a plus.  Teaching load is
three courses per semester.  Please send vita, transcript, at least 
three
letters of recommendation, sample teaching evaluations (if available) to
