Dear SEELANGERS,

Many thanks to all who responded (on- and off-list) with regard to
Svetlana Khorkina.  I learned about a wide array of subjects, ranging from
Khorkina's attitude towards motherhood, to Slavists' attitudes towards
gymnastics in general / Khorkina in particular.  Now, for those who all
week may have been restlessly pondering the question of what Khorkina
actually said to NBC, I hasten to report the winning answer: "Ia zhdu etoi
medali, kak mat' zhdet rozhdeniia rebenka."
