Soviet and Post-Soviet Cultural Studies

Dear colleagues,

I am trying to organize a workshop / discussion group on Soviet and
post-Soviet Cultural studies during the Research Laboratory at the
University of Illinois, Champagne-Urbana, June 21 - 22.

As the name suggests, the discussion group is open to all aspects of
Soviet and post-Soviet cultural phenomena -- both high and low --
including (and most certainly not limited to) the performing arts,
music, cinema, media, emigration studies, pedagogical approaches to
cultural studies, etc.

If you plan on attending the Research Lab and would like to present a
paper (or participate in the discussion), please let me know by March
15: olgames at iastate.edu
