- Today Ryhor Baradulin, a national poet of Belarus, had a 15-minute
audience with the Pope John Paul II in Vatican. The Belarusan poet
presented to the Pope his translation of “Roman Triptych - Meditations”
(Trittico Romano. Meditazioni) into Belarusan.
