Lecturer or Visiting Assistant Professor

The Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of
Virginia invites applications for a one-semester full-time appointment as
Lecturer or Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia for
the Spring 2005 semester.  Course load will include two undergraduate
courses and one graduate course.  Desired specialization: Russian and/or
Slavic culture and/or folklore.  Ph.D. and college or university teaching
experience strongly preferred.  Native or near-native fluency in Russian and
English required.  Please send c.v. and three letters of recommendation by
