 Dear Colleagues,

I would appreciate your help in translating a physical term
"prostranstvo natiazhenija" for an article on spatial models I am writing.

It seems to be something different than the "surface tension" as it is a
"surface" which is formed by tension. I am sure there is a conventional
English term for this concept.
