Announcement of Tolstoy Conference

Dear Colleagues,

The Tolstoy Estate Museum at Iasnaia Poliana would like to announce the
fourth in the series of its international Tolstoy conferences "Tolstoy
and World Literature" to be held at the estate next summer, August
22-26, 2005.  The conference will be dedicated to the memory of
Academician Lidiia Dmitrievna Gromova-Opul'skaia, who passed away
December 31, 2003. There will be a roundtable discussion devoted to
Kathryn Feuer's The Genesis of War and Peace which has been published in
Russian by Akademicheskii Proekt.
